Glimmer ✨ – A Collection of Hope

Last month, a dear friend of mine, Jen, surprised me with a visit here in Orange County. We hadn’t seen each other in years since she moved to Hawaii during the pandemic, so we had a lot of catching up to do. Over coffee, we sat for more than two hours, just talking, reflecting, and sharing stories of the last few years.

What struck me most was how much we had both grown—through seasons of pain and suffering, self-discovery, and unexpected healing. As I told her how good God has been to me, even through valleys I didn’t know I needed to walk through, she said something that stopped me in my tracks.

Jen pulled up her drapey sleeve a bit and showed me a tattoo on her forearm: written in her own elegant, cursive handwriting, the words: “glimmers” and “grace.”

She explained, “I had these tattooed on my arm as a reminder to look for the glimmers -- you see - they are the opposite of triggers. They’re the little moments in life that give us hope.”

Immediately, goosebumps covered my arms, and tears welled up in my eyes. Glimmers. What a beautiful word. My heart instantly knew it was a truth I wanted to hold onto.

When it came time to name this collection, I couldn’t think of a word more fitting. Last Spring, my “Flowers” collection bloomed out of a season of darkness and struggle. It was the valley where seeds were planted, and beauty began to grow again.

This Autumn, I long for Glimmers—those small but amazing moments of hope that remind us to keep going. That’s what this collection means to me, and what I hope it might bring to you, too.

The Glimmer Collection was designed and named to capture that feeling: airy layers of tulle that shimmer softly as they catch the light, delicate sparkle woven through every dress like little reminders of joy. These pieces feel weightless and ethereal—like tiny rays of hope you can wear. They’re meant to remind us that even in hard seasons, beauty and light still can break through.

So if you find yourself in a season where you feel like you’re drowning, weary, or lost, my prayer is that you’ll notice the Glimmers—tiny sparks of light in the everyday—that remind you hope is still there.
